You know how when you ask most kids what they want to be when they grow up, they say something like an astronaut, or a vet, or even a marine biologist?

 

Well, I was the weird kid who wanted to be a technical writer. I just thought—and, honestly, still think—that it was so cool that something I wrote could make somebody's day a little easier.

 

Nearly two decades into my career, I still have that same passion for words and writing of all kinds. I've earned a reputation for delivering great content quickly; building and managing high-performing teams; and even developing an organization's entire writing practice from scratch.

 

Although I've enjoyed working for large companies like BlackBerry and Ceridian, my favourite projects are the ones where I get to work with startups and small businesses.

 

When I'm not writing, I enjoy knitting, reading, and watching horror movies.
